Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vivid Interiors ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit vividinteriors.co.in, send us an enquiry, or leave a comment on our blog. It also explains how our website uses Google sign-in (OAuth) to show reviews from our Google Business Profile.

1. Information We Collect

Contact form enquiries

When you submit the form on our Contact Us page, we collect:

  • Your first name
  • Your contact number
  • Your location
  • Your project requirements

Blog comments

When you post a comment on one of our blog articles, we collect your name, your email address and your comment.

Phone and email

If you call us or email us directly, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever information you choose to share.

Website usage information

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay and the website that referred you. We use this information only in aggregate to improve the website.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and arrange a site visit
  • To carry out and follow up on the work you request
  • To read and respond to blog comments
  • To understand website traffic and improve our website

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. How Form Submissions Are Handled

Our website does not save contact form entries or blog comments in a database. When you submit a form, the details are sent as an email to our team, using an email sending service set up by our website developer, Black I Technologies and Solutions. The details are then kept in our email inbox.

Blog comments are not published on the website automatically.

4. Google Sign-In and Google Business Profile Reviews

We are connecting our website to our own Google Business Profile so that we can show customer reviews of Vivid Interiors on our website. This section explains how that works.

Who signs in

Only an authorised member of the Vivid Interiors team signs in with Google, using the Google account that manages our Business Profile. Website visitors are never asked to sign in with Google, and we do not collect any Google account information from visitors.

What access is requested

The connection uses Google OAuth and requests the Google Business Profile permission (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage). Google requires this permission to read reviews of a business. Our website uses it only to read:

  • The list of Business Profile accounts and locations, so that the correct Vivid Interiors listing is selected
  • The reviews posted on that listing

Our website does not use this access to post, edit, reply to or delete reviews, and does not change our Business Profile in any way.

Review information shown on the website

From each review, our website uses only:

  • The reviewer's public display name and profile photo, as shown on Google
  • The star rating, review text and date
  • Our public reply to the review, if there is one

This is the same information anyone can already see on our public Google listing. Our website shows reviews that include written text and have a rating of 4 stars or higher.

How this data is stored

  • Sign-in token: after sign-in, Google issues a refresh token. It is stored in a protected configuration file on our server, outside the public part of the website, and is never shown on the website. Short-lived access tokens issued by Google are also kept on the server until they expire, usually within one hour.
  • Review cache: a copy of the review details listed above is saved on our server and refreshed about every 5 minutes, so the website does not contact Google on every page visit. When a review is removed from Google, it drops out of our website at the next refresh.

We do not share data received from Google with anyone else, sell it, or use it for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

The Google account owner can remove our website's access at any time from Google Account → Third-party connections. Once access is removed, the stored token stops working and we delete it along with the cached reviews.

If you wrote a review and want it removed from our website, you can delete or edit it on Google, or contact us and we will remove it from our website.

5. Third-Party Services

Our website uses the following services provided by Google:

  • Google Analytics: website traffic statistics
  • Google Maps: the map showing our location in the footer and on the Contact Us page
  • Google Fonts: the fonts used on our pages
  • Google reCAPTCHA: its script is loaded on our Contact Us page
  • Google Business Profile APIs: reading our business reviews, as described above

When you load a page that uses these services, your browser connects to Google, and Google may receive your IP address and browser information. Google's handling of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Our website also links to social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. These are ordinary links: nothing from those sites loads on our pages unless you click them, and their own privacy policies apply once you do.

6. Cookies

Our own website code does not set cookies. Google Analytics, and the embedded Google Map, may set cookies or similar technologies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, although the map may not display. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Enquiries and blog comments are kept in our email inbox for as long as we need them to respond to you, carry out your project and keep normal business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
  • Google review data is refreshed about every 5 minutes and is replaced each time. It is deleted when we disconnect the Google integration.
  • Google sign-in tokens are kept only while the integration is connected and are deleted when it is disconnected.

8. Security

Our website is protected by an SSL certificate (HTTPS). Google sign-in tokens are stored outside the public part of the website, and server folders that hold configuration and cached data are blocked from public access. However, no website or method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can contact us to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Ask us to stop contacting you

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website or services change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
